Dr. Susan Mozayani
With a degree in clinical lab technology, Susan Mozayani worked as a lab scientist researching leukemia at USC medical center. To follow her passion for working directly with patients, she later attended Southern California College of Optometry and earned a doctorate degree in Optometry and a second bachelor’s degree in Visual Sciences. She appreciates working in a private practice setting where she can focus on patient education, holistic medicine, and quality eye care. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, and a Board member of the Redwood Empire Optometric Society. Community service is high on Dr. Mozayani’s priority list.
She takes pride in her accomplishments mentoring a number of young high school girls to believe in themselves, strives for higher education, and earned bachelor degrees from local universities. Dr. Mozayani is passionate about advocating for the betterment of the public school system to add value to our community.
She lives in Novato with her husband and has two young daughters. She loves to travel. And, yes, loves to dance!!
Dr. Julie Ring, O.D.
Dr. Ring graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry in 2018 and is Glaucoma certified. She has post-graduate training in Primary Care at Travis Air Force Base, Ocular Disease at Bend VA in Oregon, Contact Lens at Davis Eye Care in Oak Lawn, IL, and Pediatrics at Pacific University Optometry Clinic. One of Dr. Ring’s favorite memories of Optometry school was traveling to Cambodia to give free eye exams and donated glasses to those in need. Dr. Ring also has an interest in dry eye therapy and contact lens, including orthokeratology and myopia control.
She enjoys fitting multifocal, monovision, and toric soft lenses as well as rigid contact lenses. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association.
Dr. Ring is a huge animal lover. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, trying new foods, playing games, tennis, meditation, and yoga. She also loves snuggling with her cat, Isabelle.
